Tameya Corbett, Pre-licensed Counselor
Tameya Corbett is a Supervised Therapist with a strong background in mental health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University and continued her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from the same institution. With over four years of experience in the mental health field, Tameya has worked with children and adults from diverse backgrounds, addressing a range of unique experiences.
Tameya has extensive experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and mood disorders. She employs treatment modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to guide clients toward their most authentic selves, focusing on growth in social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral management.
Enthusiastic about her work, Tameya is dedicated to bringing a dynamic, creative, and engaging approach to therapy. She is committed to ensuring that the therapeutic journey is not only effective but also rewarding and transformative.
She is under the supervision of Teresa Wheeler.
